The National Pub and Hen Sevens

The National Pub & Hen Sevens 2021

HARPENDEN RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

is pleased to invite you to compete for the

COCKEREL TROPHY

in its twenty-first year

2021 A.D.

In this competition you are asked to predict the results of the 2021 Six Nations matches. At the end of the Championship the most successful forecaster will receive the Cockerel Trophy (to hold for the year) and a case of wine.

For each match you predict the winner (Home or Away), and whether the margin of victory will be 'Big' (more than 15 points) or 'Small' (15 points or less).

A draw is treated as a win for the Away team by less than 15 points (ie a Small margin).

The highest number of winners wins the Cockerel Trophy. In the event of a tie, your correct predictions as to the margin of victory (for those matches where you have correctly predicted the winner) will count.

Finally (in case you're still neck and neck) you are asked to predict the total number of points scored in the Championship.

Please complete your entry on the form below and click on 'SUBMIT' to enter. Your entry must be made not later than 2:14pm on Monday 1st February 2021

The Entry Fee is Ten Pounds. Please pay on the internet quoting COQ2021 and your name as reference to Barclays Harpenden Sort 20-05-73 a/c 73984117

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can send a cheque for Ten Pounds (payable to Harpenden RFC and with 'COCKEREL2021' written on the back) to:

The Cockerel Trophy

Harpenden Rugby Club

Redbourn Lane

Harpenden AL5 2BA

If we do not receive your entry fee, you will not be eligible to receive the Trophy or (more worryingly!) the case of wine.

GOOD LUCK and DON'T FORGET to give an estimate of the TOTAL POINTS SCORED.
